more precisely, I'd go to a younger me between sixth and seventh grade, and tell myself to begin looking up the words that I did not understand, and begin my own personal dictionary list.

Oh, so many things, but regarding fitness:

It's a vicious cycle. You're not inherently bad at sports exactly, but being heavy makes it harder to practice. Not practicing means you're not good at them and that you get heavier. Which makes you less able to get better. AUGH! STOP THE CYCLE!

Fitness is FUN! Find what you love! Dance your heart out! Get a big hula hoop! Embrace your "weird" looks and short curvy build... Quit wearing sweatpants over your swimsuit, for goddess' sake! Learn about burlesque dancers and stop wishing you were tall and thin and blonde, ya big dummy! emoticon Oh, and lifting weights is emoticon

I would tell myself that I may have thought I was fat, but I wasn't. I would tell myself to take care of and love myself, to be a nicer to myself and live life to the fullest. And I would tell myself to hug my mom a lot more and tell her I lover her, because I am going to lose her at a much younger age than I ever imagined.

I would tell myself that it would not be a good idea to have a child at the age of 30 because the weight has been a problem trying to remove it for the last 20 years. and exercise more, do more than walking, get used to strength training and even running as a cardio alternative

I answered this once before but I think about it again and think it is so important to really think things through because you can not go back and change things or erase your mistakes. Be smart and really judge the things your doing and how the outcome will change your future.

This is a question I have considered myself lately - if I could go back to my highschool self and tell her something...

I'd tell her that all the chips, soda, and junk food aren't going to be worth the struggle to take it off later. Of course, she probably wouldn't listen to me, but hopefully if my younger self could see me - she'd realize where her path is taking her. I'd tell her to change her habits NOW so that when she's 35, she's not hitting the panic button.

I would tell a younger me to list my priorities and weed out the negative people and things in my life. And to clean/get rid of clutter so my surroundings had lessened stress and anxiety.

Good question! I'd tell the younger me that dieting doesn't work and the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to change the way you eat and to move every day.

Honestly I have changed what I like to eat and more times than not I choose healthy foods. Wish I'd figured that out sooner.

I just turned 30 and my big thing is that I am doing this NOW, because I wasted my 20s being fat and feeling bad about myself. I would tell myself that I would still be struggling at 30 with this weight and to stop messing around and to stop quitting. Make myself a priority and don't give up.

Never giving up! I CAN do this. I WILL do this. I AM doing this!

the younger me could do so much more excises and I did I joined Jack LaLance club many many years ago and I really enjoyed it....couldn't do those kind of excises now. I told myself them you are so lucky to find the time to get to the club....and do so much running around with the children taking to pracitices games ect.... oh how I loved being 25-32-25 I remember being small......
