It does not. Since the tracker has no way to measure elevation, if you use one of the general walking entries it assumes a flat course.

Does anyone know if the fitness tracker takes in consideration hills when computing calories burned for a walk?
When I use my run keeper app, which tracks distance, sped and elevations, my number for calories burned is always higher than it reports on spark fitness tracker.

I think the answer is no, but I still want to ask.
