Or just take an easy walk if you're really itching to do something.

If I'm clear enough, I will. If I'm congested and it's making it hard for me to breathe, I'll try and sometimes call it quits. Depends on exactly what you have going on, how severe it is, and how much you can or will push through it. Don't feel guilty taking a couple days off if you need to, though!

If I'm sick from the neck up (head cold and/or headache), I exercise. A run almost always cures any headache I have. If I'm sick from the neck down (stomach, chest, etc.), then I don't exercise.

yes. The activity clears your sinuses and the endorphins kill the headache.

It depends. Some fitness professionals as well as physicians say that a little LIGHT cardiovascular exercise could help ease cold symptoms such as a stuffy nose.

So, if you have a sniffle and feel like you have a bit of energy, then you could take a walk around the neighborhood. The fresh air would do you some good.

Now, if you have aches/pains, fatigue and a cough, then you need to take it easy for a few days. How do you feel ? If you have no energy, then you shouldn't be exercising. Exercising while you're fatigued puts you at a higher risk for injury.

It's a personal decision. I actually find that cardio helps me to feel better and strangely enough, I have more energy when I exercise with a cold. I definitely take the day off if I'm suffering from the flu or stomach issues.

It's up to you, there is never anything wrong with taking a day off when you're sick and need a rest. Listen to your body.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.
