I have a chronic sore neck from whiplash in a car wreck in 1978. The physical therapist told me to improve my posture to help my neck. I often forget to stand up straight.
I read in a Yoga Journal to sit and stand with, "ears over your shoulders over your hips." I do it when I remember!
We tend to look slimmer when we stand up straight, and can prevent problems as we age with good posture.
While you are standing straight, add one more exercise by sucking in your belly. Two exercises we can do all day long!
