If you tell sparkpeople how much you want to lose and by when then it will calculate how much you should eat each day to reach your goal based on your resting metabolic rate(based on weight).
Also if you type in that you plan to burn so many extra calories per week through exercise it will calculate that in to how much your supposed to eat each day. So if you burn 500 calories a week the it adds a few extra calories to each day.
It would be nice to have a weekly caloric goal tracker in addition to the daily but i don't know if its on here.
