So I hurt my knee about a week ago. It started on a little 3 mile run I was on. i didn't think anything of it and just fnished my run. Then in the evening I noticed it was a bit painful going down stairs, everything else was fine. Next day, I still went on a 16 mile backpacking trip. The 4 miles the first day weren't bad, little uncomfortable but nothing I hadn't dealt with before. The last 3 miles the second day were hell. I made it out of the woods through sheer force of will.
So I've been iciing and resting, but it just refuses to get back to 100%. It's not really painful, just uncomfortable right along a line on the outside of my knee. The jarring motiong with jogging scares me. I went swimming but that made it stiff and sore afterwords. The first time I did a staitionary bike with it, it felt fine, but yesterday it was a bit more painful. It always returns to feeling the same the next day tho. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on cardio for a knee that's just being annoying more than anything.

Summer 2011- 215 lbs. Peak weight
Christmas 2011- 200 lbs
Start of summer 2012- 170 lbs
September 2012- Made my goal of competing at feather weight for Bjj (under 149 with a little water cut)
Now I'm just trying to maintain around 152ish to leave me in easy cutting range. Also trying to relax and eat more like a normal person now, balancing enjoying life and staying healthy.
