I have a little bag that I can wear cross body and I put my keys, cell and wallet in that. Since it is so small, the bag doesn't weigh me down too much

Great ideas, and really cool gear! I think the hipsister hipster will go on my wish list slash reward list since I can't afford to just go buy it right now. Thanks for the link! I got a great tip at the website about putting your cell phone on flight mode when the cell phone is worn so close to the body (i.e. boobies). I had never thought of the possibility of cancer from that.

I have recently been putting my mp3 player in a plastic 'cell phone case' and tucking it under the bra strap and my usual tank top strap, and it stays ok until the sweating gets really going. I don't use ear buds so I can hear it better if it's there too. Today I tucked my cell phone under the other strap of my other shoulder. That worked, and I felt safer having it with me. I need a sweat proof case for that too.I live in a growing gang area it seems.

Handshakes to all for the help!
Have a good day!

During exercise, I tried a few things. I have a wrist band that is great for a key or ID card, but doesn't fit my phone. I find the arm bands I tried uncomfortable. So I ended up with a very small "fanny pack" that is meant for hikers or travelers to hide money, etc. It works well, I can put my keys, phone, ID and some money in it. It is sleeker than the "typical fanny pack" as it is meant to be hidden under clothing--though with my phone in it I can't really hide it.

Use an armband with phone and key in the case. Have a hip band that carries my water when I get tired of holding it.

I like to wear blue jeans so I keep my keys in my front pockets. I don't have a cell phone which I am glad because when I did it too was in my front pockets but it was mostly in my hands. Didn't get a lot done when I was too busy texting or talking on it.

Have a wonderful Day! :)

I always carry my phone when I am out walking or hiking. It is just never a good idea to be out without it. I always have pockets or a fanny pack for my keys, phone, and ID. I would love to invest in an armband too.

I don't bring my cell phone. As for the key, I stick my hair tie through the hole in the key, pull it through the other end of the hair tie and wear it like a bracelet. I learned that one in my college days of going out at night and not wanting to bring your purse. emoticon

when I go for a run or a bike ride I only bring my apartment keys with me. I don't bring the phone or wallet or anything else.

When I'm running I usually run with the keys in one hand, and mp3 player in the other! I use the Sony Walkman mp3 player.

I don't carry my cell phone with me when I exercise. It is my time that I jealously guard. I want no interruptions other than with a partner exercising with me. Also, I finish my workout before 7:30 AM, so no one calls me then, anyway! No need for a phone!

The house key goes into my jacket or vest pocket.

I have a clip on my keys and I usually hook them to my bra. Sometimes I put my phone in my bra but not if I'm going to be sweating a lot. I either hold my phone or I have a couple pairs of capri workout pants that have a little zipper pocket.

If your just walking outside than you can simply carry a purse with you.

You can also 'sew' a pocket to the inside of your walking shorts or onto your shirt.

Hey! The shoelace idea is great! I forgot I used to do that at the gym with my locker key! That would save me in a pinch in other situations as well, like going to the park.

OOOps how did that happen? My internet is so freaky, Sorry

well, i do exactly what you are do....I put my key fob between the "sisters" of my sports bra (only a sports bra though..its gets sweaty, but whatev). I have an iphone and I sweat rather seriously too. What I do is I turn my phone so that the speaker/docking slot are pointing up and the back of the phone is laying against my chest. This way, sweat doesn't get down into the parts of the phone. I let my sports bra strap hold it in place.

I work at Victoria's Secret, and the VSX sport line at my store (and online I'm sure) carries a small fanny-pack looking thing. It's very slim and clips around your waist and is big enough for a key and a phone. I can't remember how much it is; less than $20 I think.

In the past I've used a "Passport" bag....essentially a pocket on a long strap....that can go under your shirt if you wish, or hang out. I wore mine over one shoulder and under the other arm. Should be plenty big enough for cellphone and keys. Should be able to make one, or find them with Travel items in places like REI, AAA, ....

I have a problem with what to do with my keys and cell phone when I go for a walk outside and I have no pockets! Help! I'm tired of swinging keys hooked to my waist, and I can't store a cell phone in my bra like some women because I sweat too much and it will ruin it! I can carry a single key to get in the house in my bra, but don't want to. Are there any special ways, straps that can go around my waist, with pockets, or anything short of a fanny pack that I can carry my stuff in when I walk?
