I always used my HRM. Yours has a chest strap and you entered your weight, height, and age into the watch before you started right? Just my two cents!

I just got a Polar FT7 HRM and fitness tracker. The FT7 is reporting twice the calories burned as the P90X calorie counter. For the P90X I enter my weight, intensity, minutes, and the specific P90 exercise, and it calculates the calories burned. When I do the same exercise, the FT7 calculates around twice the calories burned. Which is more accurate? Help? Thanks.
