I'm not looking to lose all that much weight (maybe 5 or so more lb), but I know exercise has all sorts of other health benefits, short and long term.
I do not go to the gym or do any type of workout regularly. Sometimes I'll get the motivation to do some squats/pushups/situps/etc. at night, but it's infrequent (MAYBE once a week, more like once every 2 weeks). But, I am on my feet all day. I work in a warehouse, where I am constantly standing at my computer, walking around, carring boxes, etc. Often times the only time I sit down is lunch! I know it's not considered "exercise" but is this enough?
Also...when I get home from work I try to not just sit down and stay there all night. Instead I'll run errands, clean the house, cook dinner....and THEN maybe sit down to read or watch a movie. On the weekends I also try to do one activity...whether it's going out dancing, going for a hike, playing a sport with my nephew, etc.
So what do you think? Should I try to incorporate more "real" exercise?
