I've been working out for awhile now and mostly do weight lifting and HIIT but I kept hearing great things about yoga and it's been on my fitness bucket list for some time. It's suppose to be good for healing and stretching (from well, any form of fitness) on recovery days from weight lifting. So I just started a 60 minute routine 1x a week last week. It's so nice to have a day off from my high intensity workouts but I always feel like I have left over energy pent up. Yoga is a nice low intensity/low impact way to still get some fitness in for the day without causing overtraining. I feel so tight and stiff when I don't exercise so yoga is the perfect fit.
