When I'm gardening, I only track it when I'm doing the heavy stuff; digging, hoeing, pulling weeds, etc. If I'm just spraying things or picking vegetables, it's just bonus movement, and I don't count it as exercise.

If this is a fairly regular activity I would just put yourself as "lightly active" on your account. Then you can just count planned exercise in your fitness tracker.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.

I work in my garden for hours some days weeding and harvesting. I'm concerned the fitness tracker calculates too many calories burned for these chores.What I do doesn't get my heart rate up but I do feel it in my muscles. Should I track less time in the garden or is this correct?
