You've gotten some great suggestions for strength training exercises, which you should definitely add to your workout routine. I do want to mention, though, that no exercises will tighten up loose skin. That happens purely as a result of genetics, age, time, and luck. The good news is that loose skin is a lot healthier than 30 lbs of fat. :) Congrats on your weight loss so far!

Squats, planks and pushups (modified, wall or incline pushups if necessary) are all great exercises that work several different muscles at once, and involve no equipment at all - just your own bodyweight.

Resistance bands are a great piece of ST equipment - cheap ($10-20), portable/storable and versatile.

As long as you're doing exercises that are challenging and fatigue your muscles in 1-3 sets, 8-12 repetitions, you're on the right track. You might consider trying SparkPeople's Workout Generator, which will give you a routine to follow based on your needs and equipment available:

You can never go wrong with Pushups! even if they need to be modified! ( I'm still on wall push ups) and squats! You technically need no equipment there, but if you do want maybe a medicine ball or some dumbbells that your comfortable with (5-10 would be good) There is a whole range of things you could do Like

Chest presses
Squats with dumbbells
Dead lifts with dumbbells/ medicine ball
hammer curls
Burpees are good for full body
The unorthodox method of Pull ups where you lay under a chair grab the chair at the sides and well pull up

I have been trying to lose weight for about a year now and have finally reached 30 pounds gone. I still have 20 or more to go and for cardio I have been switching between Zumba and kickboxing. Loose skin has always been a worry of mine and I have started noticing certain areas (arms, abs, legs) that may result in that once I am done losing. I am completely lost at what to do for toning and I know I should start focusing on that as well as cardio. I want to be able to work out at home and have very little equipment. What should I start with? I know sparkpeople has tons of demos to try...but what basics should I do to start that will make a difference? Thanks in advance!
