You set your treadmill to it's highest incline, walk as fast as you can for 20 minutes or more, and don't break a sweat! :)

Now that I've been pushing myself harder, faster, farther...I find I need at least 60 minutes on my treadmill everyday with high inclines & high speeds, just to feel like I'm getting a workout! And I pedal for 30 minutes or more on my exercise bike after that...

Every day. 7 days a week. THAT'S what "being in good shape" means for me! And it feels GREAT!

It Is What It Is.... :)

You realize that when coworkers bring in donuts you're better off saying no because if you partake, you'll have a tummy ache. When you're body's not accustomed to high fat and high sugar it's just not all that great any more.

You have to purchase a new belt size.

Your pants feel baggy.

Your shoes feel to wide even though you never had wide feet, and your feet were never fat, but absolutely normal looking and hard. It's funny they feel baggy, as weird as that sounds. Lol

Attach a big dream to a small beginning, and it won't be small for too long.

Today was Housecleaning Day: there's a LOT to do, especially in the kitchen... and the floors... and DH's bathroom. I dread getting started; but on the other hand, there's a LOT of good sweat and calories to be burned.

I was looking for an old T-shirt to wear, and all mine are either in the laundry or buried in the spare room - that's where my clothes are, until I get the house unpacked - so I just grabbed one of DH's. I know I'm able to get his tees on now, and they aren't SO tight that they cut off my breath like before, and it doesn't matter how tight it is because no one's gonna SEE me, right?

So I slipped it over my head and... IT FIT PERFECTLY! I knew I was shrinking, but to feel that difference was amazing...
Now I have a whole new housecleaning wardrobe! emoticon

My progress is so far actually going out and just doing some meaningful exercise, whether it be walking or using a treadmill. I am only a beginner and I had issues with losing, gaining, and overeating.

U don't have to have the seat in your car all the way back so your belly can fit in front of the steering wheel! emoticon

I was putting on shoes and socks for the first time in about a year (I always wear sandals, but was visiting CO from southern CA), and I noticed a difference in my leg muscles:

I was able to lug the large box w/ our Christmas tree up from the basement w/ out relying on my hubby to do it!!!

I get to certain stages in this journey and I feel like I don't know what to do. but I keep sticking to the basics but I feel confused. after a few days I calm down and continue to stick to what works, and as you see right now I am confused. but one step at a time, little by little I know it will lift and it will be okay as long as I stick to what works. and then take my step up.transformation is not hard but sometimes confusing
