Today was Housecleaning Day: there's a LOT to do, especially in the kitchen... and the floors... and DH's bathroom. I dread getting started; but on the other hand, there's a LOT of good sweat and calories to be burned.

I was looking for an old T-shirt to wear, and all mine are either in the laundry or buried in the spare room - that's where my clothes are, until I get the house unpacked - so I just grabbed one of DH's. I know I'm able to get his tees on now, and they aren't SO tight that they cut off my breath like before, and it doesn't matter how tight it is because no one's gonna SEE me, right?

So I slipped it over my head and... IT FIT PERFECTLY! I knew I was shrinking, but to feel that difference was amazing...
Now I have a whole new housecleaning wardrobe! emoticon

My progress is so far actually going out and just doing some meaningful exercise, whether it be walking or using a treadmill. I am only a beginner and I had issues with losing, gaining, and overeating.

I was putting on shoes and socks for the first time in about a year (I always wear sandals, but was visiting CO from southern CA), and I noticed a difference in my leg muscles:

I was able to lug the large box w/ our Christmas tree up from the basement w/ out relying on my hubby to do it!!!

I get to certain stages in this journey and I feel like I don't know what to do. but I keep sticking to the basics but I feel confused. after a few days I calm down and continue to stick to what works, and as you see right now I am confused. but one step at a time, little by little I know it will lift and it will be okay as long as I stick to what works. and then take my step up.transformation is not hard but sometimes confusing

10minutes at 4km/hr on your treadmill used to kill you but now you are doing 3 lots of 15 minute sessions, at 15minute intervals at 4.6kms an hour and thinking can I add another one ?? :-)

Sherylynn1, Thank you for confiding in us, and it's nice to see your posts to us in the Sparkpeople family.

Well! I know I'm making progress when I keep bumping up the thermostat because the sweater and long pants are doing their level best, but the fat isn't insulating as well as it used to. Also, instead giving my flabby tabby a snack, I give her a good hug and an ear-rub. I have as many foot care items on my vanity as cosmetics, and I am looking over my old work out clothes to see if they're loose enough to wear for pajamas. And, of course, many, many mileposts pointed out by everybody else.

My daughter died October 2011 this is an emotional time for me every year since. to lose a child is something I cannot explain. I have her two daughters that are teenagers and we make it one day at a time, together. I miss her so much, but I can still feel her presence. God Bless and keep you

I saw a pair of my shoes I mail ordered about 4 yrs ago, I never wore them out, because they were too tight, I thought it was worth a try and my feed slipped right in. I have them on at work today.with a great looking pant suit, that I havent been able to wear either. Its a blessing. I am loosing about a pound a week, and I feel good and I want to continue get it all off. The best news is I have this system to share with and people who understand, what it is like. I don't want to bore others that don't get it and continue to grow with people like me.Thanks to all for being Spark family.

When the pants I could no longer where now are too big and need a belt
A co worker noticed it and made a comment. I am getting rid of the 20's and now
the 18's are too big and I have not lost interest, I just want to keep going

you're in the 'groove'- eating fresh veggies feels good, you don't want to eat out or fried foods because you feel better when you don't, you have more energy, working out is a habit, and you can get into smaller pants like i did this morning! :)

Current goal:
- 32 by end of April.

Next goals: -
39 total by end of May.
-46 by end of June.

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!
