This is probably something you want to talk to your doctor about. But a few suggestions to get the discussion started with him/her:
Strength training can help counteract some of the muscle wastage that is associated with MS.
A recumbent bike can be a good way to get in exercise if you have balance issues. Spark's limited mobility lifestyle center has a number of seated workout suggestions and videos www.sparkpeople.com/resource/lifestyle_cen
Another possibility is swimming or water walking. Again these are good for those with balance issues (you can't fall if you are already in the water), and has the added advantage of avoiding overheating and flare-ups.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
