please talk with your dr about this. some forms of ms you can't exercise with. my ex hubby has ms and he was told by his ms dr not to exercise as it would make his ms worse. and for him I do know that is true.

I would also recommend talking with your doctor, but I did find this SparkTeam about MS that you may want to join and see what tips they have to offer: www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups_individ

This is probably something you want to talk to your doctor about. But a few suggestions to get the discussion started with him/her:

Strength training can help counteract some of the muscle wastage that is associated with MS.

A recumbent bike can be a good way to get in exercise if you have balance issues. Spark's limited mobility lifestyle center has a number of seated workout suggestions and videos

Another possibility is swimming or water walking. Again these are good for those with balance issues (you can't fall if you are already in the water), and has the added advantage of avoiding overheating and flare-ups.
