It's not. There are tons of tricks and tips for "maximizing weight loss" but realistically, weight loss isn't about exercise. Exercise is critical for overall health, and makes weight loss easier (allowing you to eat more and still lose) but to maximize weight loss, track your food accurately (with a scale) and set reasonable goals to really maximize progress.
