Try a different doctor too. Not all doctors have the same opinion and someone new might have other ideas on how to help you.

OK, thanks for the input. I always dread being told there's nothing that can be done, then having to pay for being told that...especially when finances are tight. Guess I'll have to suck it up and ask again.

I have to agree with DRAGONCHILDE. It would be best to go back to have it reevaluated so you're not causing further issues for yourself, especially since you are experiencing pain with light exercise.

Unfortunately, pain is one of those things that we can commiserate with, but we can't diagnose.

As much as you don't want to hear it, because of the nature of your injury and the fact you're still in pain, you need to go back and have it evaluated. At the very least, you can ask for a referral to a physical therapist who can help you rehab it.

I dropped about 225 pounds on my foot in late February. I was told at the time that I stretched out the tendon on the bottom of my arch, and not much could be done...just time to heal. It still feels like a knife going through my arch after, or during, very light exercise. I don't want to go back and pay to be told again there's nothing that can done. So anybody have similar pain in their arch, and what did you do to finally help it heal?
