I second checking with your doctor about that before trying it. If done incorrectly, it could certainly make things worse for you, but even if done correctly, it may put too much strain on your back. If your doctor does say it's ok for you, I would recommend that you take an actual class rather than doing a video because the instructor can help you with your form and make sure you are doing things correctly. I would also recommend talking with the instructor beforehand letting them know of your health conditions and limitations, but again, check with your doctor first.
