Burning fat is an all body process, and unfortunately you can't target where you lose weight from.
People like fighters and jockeys use sweating techniques to meet specific weigh in targets, but all they are losing is water weight, which will go straight back on as soon as they rehydrate. It is ACTIVITY that burns calories (and fat), not sweating.
What you can do is to continue to reduce your overall body fat through a combination of cardio, all body strength training and watching your intake, and some of it will naturally come off the belly.
Sweating is your body's way of getting rid of excess heat. By wearing a sweat suit/belt/whatever, you are reducing your body's ability to get rid of heat. This may actually mean that you can't work out as long, or as hard, and by cutting your workout short, you are actually burning LESS calories and fat, not more.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
