This question is contingent on your current weight, fitness and eating. The more you weigh, the sooner you will see results. It has taken me a year to loose 28 pounds, but I have seen changes steadily. My husband just noticed that I have lost weight which is sad since we are married and he see's me "Full monty" all the time.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

I have been at this full time for just about one month and I can already see changes even though I'm only down 8lbs. I am happier, have more energy, and my clothes are fitting better. I have worked out 30 days in a row and I love it.

my weight started falling right away but it took a few months for me to really see a difference in terms of smaller clothes etc.

I started having more energy after the first 3 weeks. Now I have lost 20 pounds its just a domino effect of things I have noticed, such as strength, clothes fitting looser and better sleep.

ALORIX, there are no shortcuts. There's a lot of temptation in trying to find one, but there's not. Don't think of this as a race; it's a long-term journey.

I think you need to look at something besides the mirror to notice changes in the short-term.

My exercise program includes strength training, and it's a really great feeling to notice you need a heavier weight to keep the same moves challenging! Or being able to do something just a little bit more easily than you could before. These types of changes will preclude any outward changes to your appearance, so it can be very rewarding to pay more attention to what you can do instead of how you look!

Every day is a new beginning, a fresh chance to make great progress! Leave yesterday behind, and focus on what is in front of you now.

I didn't notice a huge difference when I looked in the mirror for the first few months, but my clothes were fitting better and looser about one month in. Give it time! Be patient :)

Depends. I started seeing results in my c25k plan right away. I also noticed I was sleeping better and didn't get indigestion all the time. And my bank account was bigger because I wasn't eating out all the time.

My scale still hasn't made big changes, but 8 weeks in I'm down a pants size.

It can take as much as 6 to 8 weeks for healthy lifestyle changes to show up on the scale, especially when you add exercise. This doesn't mean your body isn't making big changes on the inside, nor that you won't see a difference, just that the scale isn't necessarily the best measure of your progress.

You will start feeling and looking better right away... the rest of it will catch up!

The scale started moving as soon as I started cutting calories. I didn't notice much difference until my first 20 lbs came off.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.
