Perhaps use the fitness maps to get a more accurate fix on the distance.

Assuming you go to the same place for lunch each time, you should only need to measure the distance once.

Thanks MEGADANCINPEEJ, I don't think I walk a mile, probably a half of a mile. It's just to the Target across the street from my office to buy lunch... I guess it won't hurt to track it. Thanks again!

I always track my lunch time walk - I walk about a mile in 15-17 minutes (depending on the day) so even though it's not along time, a mile feels significant. And I'm using the classic tracker so I estimate my weekly calories up front, so I feel it's chipping away at my weekly goal. If you're using the new tracker, then burning 57 calories means you could theoretically eat 57 more calories - I don't really see "messing that up".

Do something everyday that your future self will thank you for.

Hello SP Fitness People!
I was wondering, should I apply the walk I take during my lunch break (15-20 mins) to my fitness tracker? I don't really keep track of the distance but it is usually enough to at least break a little sweat but there really isn't any increased heart rate... I'm just wondering b/c I don't want to count the 57 calories it supposedly burns and then eat more calories and mess up my intake v outake... any thoughts?
