It sounds like you really need to talk to your local mom and pop record store clerk! They will be able to guide you into finding the music you seek. Lookup your area on http://www.recordjunkie.com/

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to Sparkpeople but not new to wanting to make a difference! I joined Sparkpeople to try again.

Every time I get "spark" to start working out again, I find that it's MUCH easier (and more fun) when I have music that keeps me motivated and before I know it, I've blasted through my workout and had a blast doing it. For a while I was going to Zumba (I have no rhythm but it was just so much fun!) and I really liked the multi-cultural music. I've found that I really like Indian (Bhangra? Punjabi? style?) music but because I don't speak the language I have NO idea where to start looking! I have one song that a Zumba instructor gave me a long time ago called "SAY NA SAY NA- Abhishek and Priyanka" and I really like that one. I also have another one that I like even more but I have no idea what it's called or how to look for it to find songs similar to it. I'm finding that I really get "into the zone" when the songs have a good tempo and drums (Like: Fun.-"Some Nights", Fall Out Boy-"My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark", a few Bollywood songs I've heard in passing). I figured it was worth a shot to ask anyone who reads this if they have any suggestions so I can beef up my playlist!

Thanks!
