I got the Fitbit One... It was a little pricey, but definitely worth the money!

Which Fitbit did you get? I'm going back and forth on which model to get.

If you sync your Fitbit and SP accounts, everything syncs. So you'll have to delete the entry if you don't want it there.

I figured out how to link my Fitbit up with my steps. My problem is that I don't want my Fitbit showing up on my Fitness Tracker because it will double my calories burned, etc. It looks like I can delete the Fitbit Fitness Tracker entry in order to keep from doubling workouts, but I didn't know if there was another way to keep Fitbit from logging entries into the Fitness Tracker?

My Fitbit syncs to my account, and just adds one entry to the tracker. Then if you wanted to add steps, you'd do that as a separate entry.

Does that help?

Thank you Jen! It looks like the only way to keep Fitbit synced and counting as my steps is to just delete the length/calories it adds into the Fitness Tracker. Is this correct?

I absolutely LOVE the Fitbit! It really motivates me to get up and moving more and I've found it to be pretty accurate. Just be careful to watch that it's not giving you steps while you drive.

How do you like the fitbit so far? I'm thinking of getting one!

You wouldn't want to track the mileage as well as the Fitbit entry, because that will double-count. You could use the steps tracker, because that won't affect your calories burned.

I just linked my fitbit to my fitness tracker. It's great that I am able to link fitbit and sparkpeople together, makes me life easier!

However, I realized that after my run today when I went to enter in my mileage, it added all of my steps and calories burned. Does this mean if I have my fitbit synced that I should not add mileage for walking/running? I would like my steps to be tracked as well as my runs, but it seems like this may not be an option. Also, it doubles calories that I can eat for the day if it is tracking the activity twice.

Any input with this? Thanks a lot!
