No, protein pretty much helps everything if you go from not getting enough of it to getting enough. How much coffee have you been drinking? A lot in the morning and then none can lead to that afternoon crash as your body loses it's faux energy source. Me personally, I drink 1 12oz cup mid morning, and then another at around 2pm. I don't feel the roller coaster at all and it gets me through the afternoon beautifully, even if I was bad and running a little behind with sleep. Coffee after 3 or 4 I've noticed keeps me up at night.
I can't see your trackers so I don't know if maybe your lunches are bad or not, but from another comment I would second the advice to get more protein. Most people don't get enough honestly.
