I'm an obese woman who's decided it's time to stop gasping for breath when walking to the bus, and get inshape. the food stuff I know, it's a no brainer, but exercise is something that's a challenge - both cause i hate it, and cause everything hurts when you are big!
I've checked in with a doctor, and am good to go with anything I want to do, so long as it's low impact. Biking and swiming would be her favorite options - but I don't have a car, so those will only be on special occasions. She did give me specific exercises for my knees, and said "it's going to hurt for 3 months or so, till you get to a decent weight. sorry.." oh joy!
I'd really like exercise videos, cause it feels more social, if anyone has suggestions.
But any help is appriciated!
