The new great revised Fitness format that SparkPeople came up with did away with the fitness program I'd been using and recording for several years.
Yes, many of you wouldn't consider it much of an exercise program. It wasn't designed for people under 50. But, by the time you are in your 70's you begin to cut back on what you are doing. My limited activities which included strength, stretch and flexibility exercise as well as walking, gardening, mowing lawns. It worked for me. "Upright and Moving" is the motto of our over the hill aged walking group. Anyway,the things I had on my fitness program listing were what worked for me. And, the list help me to monitor that I did those extra activities. Its gone with the revision of this site.
SP's revised Fitness activity recording program did away with my old kprogram and gave me something that doesn't work for me. Actually, the new revisions are eliminating things I did on SP, the excess of advertising that requires time to load, making you wait and wait for SP programs to run. are turning me off to Spark People.
The two things that keep me regular on SP are the Weight chart which I visit daily. I keep a record of my morning blood pressure on this format. My doctor loves the charts I give her at my visits. I use the Goals charting. And, I use the Nutrition program to watch my daily caloric intake. Unfortunately, some revisitons here also make it harder, more ackward to use.
