I love almost any kind of dance workout, kickboxing and Pilates. I really enjoy circuit training and weight classes like (BodyPump). I discovered BodyPump after I had my daughter almost eight years ago. I stopped doing it for a while, but I started doing it again. As I get closer to 40, I appreciate how sexy muscle can be and how important weight training is as you get older.
I love Zumba and I was nervous when I first tried it too but its more about having fun than getting every step right, and I really work up a sweat. Also Insanity is a great intense work out I'm currently on my 7th week of the program and it has changed my body.

I run, take a kickboxing class, and lift weights. When I want to mix it up or am short on time, I do a HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout loosely based on the "Spartacus workout". Google it and you'll find lots of variations. I do one-minute intervals with 15 seconds of rest for a total of 10, then rest one minute and repeat the entire circuit twice (so 30 minutes of intense exercise). I mix it up but usually do some combination of:
goblet squats split squat leaps pushup to a T (do a pushup, turn sideways so you're supported on your left arm, lift the right arm straight up, repeat on the other side, etc.) medicine ball slams kettlebell swings box jumps reverse lunge with twist (holding a dumbbell) upright row/overhead press combo
... whatever works to get your heart pumping furiously. Using weights increases the intensity of the exercise.
Oh and also Blogilates videos on youtube Cassey is really fun and great and her videos have some beginners too. you REALLY feel ABC abs, JEEZ!!!!! could only do half of that video!!! Also the what makes you bootyful butt challenge actually works i have done it and my butt is awsome and bubbly like the exact same day i do the challenge........... it rocks!!!!!

I love my personal trainer session. I started it after I came out of rehab for a back problem so that I could learn to avoid future back problems and stuck with it. Not only do they urge you further than you would do on your own, but also with more intensity/weight/speed. Best health money I ever spent.

The first time i did/tried zumba dance work out videos on youtube i liked it but then i stopped liking it and now i dont do it because........ ya....... i dont like it........... anyways!! Ha ha i went to dollar tree or family dollar and got some $1 work out DVDs from exercise Tv i do the Cardio burn one thats 20 minutes i dont do the other 10 minute part because you need a ball or something but i really think the exercise tv videos are good ones and i think they are pretty effective on me :)
