Yes, I think it's a great start if you're new to strength training. Just make sure you're using weights that are challenging for you.

Hope that helps,

Coach Jen

I have a separate cardio routine. I'm wondering if TBS twice a week would count as my strength training. I'm still a newbie, working my way up.

I would count only the weight lifting as strengthening and the aerobic as cardio. I would do more until you get at least 60 min of cardio and 30min strengthening or visa versa depending on what you want. The cardio burns fat and the strength changes your body mass from fat to muscles. You need both as you loose muscle as you burn the fat.

Would the SP Total Body Sculpt workout count as strength training? I like the workout but wonder if I need to do more.
