You could have got in on youtube for free.

I did it awhile back. I prefer Ripped in 30, it's a bit more challenging but the 30 Day Shred is good for a beginner. I would recommend using as heavy weights as you can. Doesn't matter if you can't finish one of her sets (especially when first beginning a level) because that means you're reaching muscle exhaustion. You will build strength faster if you use challenging weights.

None of these videos are better than having a proper compound exercise routine involving challenging weights/resistance. You'll get faster/better results if you push yourself to muscle fatigue each set in 4-10 reps performing compound exercises like; deadlifts, pull ups, push ups, lunges, squats, rows etc. Most of these videos involve light weights and high reps which is essentially just cardio.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. If you don't want to get bulky, lift heavy!

I can bench Nicole Richie, eat more than she does in a day before noon, I have a good 20 lbs on her but could still wear her pants.

I have done it, and it is fun. It is a nice 20+ minute workout that gets my heart pumping! I have also done her Ripped in 30 and Burn Fat Boost Metabolism. All are similar in intensity and work. I really have enjoyed them all!
