I have a recumbent bike. Some days I'm a little slow getting started, but once I get going my knees do feel better.

We don't stop playing because we grow old - we grow old because we stop playing.

If you have access to a pool, swimming and/or water aerobics can be good for those with arthritis. In addition to the elliptical, which was already mentioned, a stationary bike can be easy on the joints as well.

I am getting ready for Bariatric surgery and have to lose 40 pounds prior to a surgery date. Ihave rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and an ankle fused. I've tried the Nu Step (love it!) and chair aerobics. Felt like I didnt get as much out of the aerobics as some of it I just cant do. Looking for suggestions!
