JM's Ripped in 30 is more challenging and I agree, up those weights.
Do you have a full body strength training program as well? If not, I suggest you do. It's difficult to build strength/muscle following a fitness video. They're usually high reps and low weight and you will be unable to reach muscle exhaustion each set. I highly recommend investing in some barbells where you can change the weight. Lift heavy and low reps to muscle exhaustion in about 4-10 reps and 2-3 sets.
Women shouldn't be afraid to lift heavy, if you're using 5 lbs weights you're basically just doing cardio. My strength training routine doesn't include any weight under 20 lbs.
