So glad I found this topic, as I've put 4 lbs back on since the weather is finally nice enough in the Chicago area to get out on my bicycle. I have been getting out on the bike trail near my home 3-4 times per week for 35-60 minutes. According to the fitness tracker on this site, that has increased the amount of calories I'm burning signficantly over what I was burning this winter and I have not changed my diet at all. I was getting so discouraged til I read these posts. I'll hang in there with the bicycling and maintain my healthy diet, and hopefully the 4 lbs I put back on (and hopefully more) will drop back off in the next couple of weeks.

A few years ago when I decided to start exercising, I had been maintaining my weight for a while. And when I started with Jillian's Banish Fat boost metabolism I too ended up gaining weight for the first 2 months!!!! I did take a closer look at my foods, and started to measure instead of guess at amounts. And that is when the scale started to drop.

Good morning sparkers! I've started kicking my workouts in high gear this week doing jillian michaels dvds. I am obsessed with her. The scale says i have gained some weight even though my diet has basically not changed. Could that just be from water retention from workouts? Thanks!
