Seriously....I wouldn't wait. There are too many unknowns going on in there.
Case in point....I was training for a 5k, and training really, really hard. My legs were hurting one night right under the knee. I was going to dismiss it and just get rest for a few days, then see what happened, and try running again. The good news is that I didn't wait to see the doctor. The bad news was that I had a tibial plateau fracture. Even though I had full functionability of the leg and joint (and you never would have guessed if you saw me moving about) but, nonetheless, it was broken. Fortunately no surgery.
Had I gone with plan A, I probably would still be laid up and would have had to have surgery.
The moral of the story: pain is a sign that there's something wrong. It may take an MRI to figure it out, but don't play around with it. Get to the doctor and start the process now.
Give me a mountain and I will climb it. Give me a river and I will cross it. Give me a lake and I will swim it. Give me a coupon binder and I will show you how it's done! www.mrstightwadcq.blogspot.com
