Did you participate in a Memorial Weekend run? If so, did it support a cause? And of course, how far did you go?
I ran Randy's Run 5k yesterday morning. It honored a service member killed in action in Afghanistan in April 2010. He graduated from the high school in the city where the race was held. The run races money to award scholarships for graduation seniors at that school who shares similar values to Randy.
