Awesome thanks! i've been debating for a few years now on getting a heart rate monitor watch and finally picked up a cheap one at a grocery store and I don't like it at all. It doesn't ahve a chest strap so you have to hold it against your wrist when taking the heart rate but you ahve to hold it so long you pretty much have to stop what you are doing and it doesn't track it. Thanks for the info

Sorry ASHLEYROXX didn't mean to butt in!

Yeah, its almost like a waxy material on the side that faces your skin. You don't even feel it on. I slip it underneathe my sports bra usually. Its a stretchy elastic material and is adjustable as well.

Does the chest strap stay put well even when sweaty?

I got mine on Amazon for $65. Otherwise in store they are closer to $100.

I LOVE my FitBit One. I've never heard of the other one though but it'd be nice to be able to figure in my heart rate. I just have a watch for that right now. Good luck on your search!

I had a FitBit and just recently upgraded to a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor. I like the Polar way more, and it seems to be a bit more accurate. It measures heart rate, time, calories burned, tells you if you are in range or out of range for heart rate, etc.

Hi there, Sparkers!! I'm in need of some more motivation, so I'm thinking about getting a new calorie-measuring gadget. What should I get? The FitBit One? The bodymedia bodybugg?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
