Walking is weight-bearing exercise. If you were carrying your daughter in a backpack carrier, then, yes, you would be burning extra calories. But with a stroller, the weight goes down through the wheels, rather than your legs. With a good stroller on level ground, the extra calorie burn is minimal.
I wouldn't worry about slowing down while using a stroller - it is total distance covered that matters in terms of calories burned, not speed.
