FitBit One - got mine only last week, but it is super. Easy to wear, no having to reset buttons all the time, and it monitors you steps all day long! Resets on its own after midnight each day. It monitors stairclimbing, as well as steps, mileage, calories burned - and you can monitor your sleep patterns, even use it as a silent alarm clock. Tells you the time too. Syncs easily to SP. It even sets up motivational programs, earning badges when specified goals are met. Keeps track of everything over time. For me, it was just what I needed. I got mine on Ebay. Pretty costly still, but I think it is going to be worth every penny spent!! (and will no longer have to keep tryng out the el-cheapo ones); it's one of those "You get what you pay for" items.

"My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in me, whom I have from God, and I am not my own. For I have been bought at a price, therefore I will glorify God in my body and in my spirit, which are God's."

The best pedometer is one you remember to wear ... !

Seriously, though, there are a million different options out there from super-basic (and cheap) to super-complicated (and expensive). I've tried a handful of different pedometers over the last six years.

I discovered that I prefer a multi-function pedometer - I'm more motivated to wear it if it does more than just track steps. For that reason, I chose a FitBit One & am extremely happy with it! Cost a little bit more (around $85) but I haven't forgotten to wear it once since I've had it. Love the dashboard. I don't like the activity sync with Spark, however so I do have to do more manual managing between SP & my FB.

What is the best pedometer to buy? I want to start tracking my steps on a daily basis?
