love that it's low impact and an alternative to the other things I do - and I can do it inside in the winter

I love my rebounder. i don't necessarily use it for fat burn or calorie burn as much as the fact that is low to no impact. I also like that it gets my lymph moving (not that other exercise doesn't do that but it is awesome for my lifestyle),

It can get boring but so can the treadmill, elliptical and some exercise classes.

Only you can decide if it would be something that you would enjoy. Lots of gyms have them so maybe try it out first.

I tried it and it was so boring. Ended up selling my rebounder to my brother. Didn't burn many calories, at least according to Spark

I've used a plain small trampoline and it sure gets the heart rate up without a lot of impact. So does my elliptical. So can my treadmill. It just matters that exercise is getting the heart pumping, but there's no 'magic' exercise that will burn soooo much more than anything else in the world. It's just a sales pitch, in my opinion.

You are likely right that any "lots of calories" estimates you hear for this are going to be overestimated, especially in their marketing materials. however, that doesn't mean it's not a good exercise!

What matters with an exercise isn't really the calories you burn; No matter if you choose something that burns 500 in an hour or 250, you're still aiming for the same rate of weight loss either way. So, you would just eat more to compensate for the more intense exercise. :)

What matters with an exercise is whether or not you enjoy it. Minute for minute, running is a higher calorie burner than most exercises, but if you hate to run, or *can't* run, what good does it do you? If you enjoy it, and can do it, then you'll stick with it longer.

has anyone tried rebounding? What do you think? I hear it burns a lot of calories, but I am not sure about it...I can't see how it would burn more than any other one. Love some feedback on it!
