Do cardio, eat at a calorie deficit, and reduce your body fat percentage. :)
There is unfortunately no way to spot reduce the parts of your body you don't like. Fat loss is a total body process, and rock-hard abs are not about the exercises you do, but your overall BFP and the hand you pulled from the genetic deck. Look at your mom; she's a good example of what you may be able to expect!
If you're a woman, you may always have some softness; we're genetically predisposed to carrying weight there as a part of our reproductive system's needs. Women with abs like Jillian Michaels are the exception, not the norm, and often require a BFP that's too low to be attainable for most of us.
