I have a Total Trainer which is an equivalent machine. Both are semi based on the Pilates Reformer and all three fall into the category of assisted bodyweight exercise. By adjusting angles the resistance of your bodyweight is increased. TRX or suspension training is also a form of assisted bodyweight training. All work and will give you an excellent workout when used consistantly.
It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.
