We live out in the country, with a couple cougars killing dogs in the area it is not really safe to take them out to play or go for walks, also coyotes have been spotted a few houses away. They have bikes, but I don't and they really don't ride them so even if I had one it would be impossible to go for bike rides as they would have no strength to push their bikes back up the hill.
Being we are 45 minutes out of town and money can be tight, it would be impossible to get them to Taekwondo classes. They do have a class on Thursday lunch time. They have just finished up a 6 week Kids Zumba class and loved it but I can't get them to classes in town because of finances.
We do have a XBox 360 with Kinex, but they don't seem to be too interested in it anymore. They got it for Christmas and played on it until the middle of Jan, then the interest dropped off. They loved playing it so I don't know why they stopped. They found the Just Dance too advanced for them. I was thinking of the Disney Dance as it would probably have easier moves and less butt shaking.
They don't try to join me all the time I do Jillian, I am available to them basically all day for hanging out. I am basically around them 24/7, as I work in their school.
They like doing high energy things. Sit ups, stretches don't interest them. They never tried to join me when doing physio exercises. I have asked them not to join me when I am doing Jillian because it is too much of a distraction because I have to watch how they are doing their workouts and I do them in a small area in my bedroom, and the living room is much smaller area.
They are are not overweight, they are perfect weight for their age, and height, actually they are taller than most of their friends in their age groups. They just want to do high energy things so I want to encourage that in the limit income we have.
