I discovered Classical Stretch on my local PBS channel last week. I caught the end of the show and it looked interesting. Enough to get me out of my three month no exercise slump? Well time would tell! I checked the web for times the show comes on. I have three PBS channels that show it and the 1pm slot was perfect for me as a non morning person! I've done six show and am hooked! It combines ballet,yoga,Pilates,Tai chi and chiropractic moves. I've never done anything like it. And if you think a no impact workout is easy, try this -you will sweat. I am not in good shape, but had been doing weights and a bike for months and loved it. Then one day I stopped and one day turned to ninety! I did ride my bike maybe once a week or less. I now feel muscles I didn't know I had and some days am very sore! But with two back and a neck injury this is providing wonderful stretches and no pain. Now I can't do every move but maybe one day I will!
