If core is super weak..as mine was..I couldn't even do one full set at first..worked up to it

It depends on your level of fitness--if you are new to this type of exercise, 1 set of 8-10 reps will suffice, if you are a little more advanced you may want to try 3 sets of 8-10 reps (1 rep equals one full pendulum swing to the right and left).
