i know what is causing my bloating, i think. i drink an occasional beer. whenever i do that, i don't drink enough water. i also drank milk with my cereal two days in a row....causing gas and bloating. so i believe with beer and dairy, and some foods, you have to definitely increase your water intake. and maybe i should leave the beer alone. things that make you go....... hmmmmm!

For me, I notice that anything artificial will cause bloating. So I try to only eat/drink whole, real, non-processed foods.

Loose the soft drinks, minimize the foods that cause bloating like onions, beans, cantelope etc.

I have an edema in my leg from a fall over three years ago. I noticed when I ate my clean raw diet, the inflammation was minimal. However when I ate more salt or inflammatory foods, the leg blew up and actually hurt and I wouldn't be able to zip my favorite boots.

the swelling in my leg tells me when i screwed up on my food choices.

Hi KRALLEN1

"I have noticed the past couple of weeks I am bloated."

What have you been doing differently which might have caused the bloat?

Did you add more fiber things like that?
Did you change your exercise routine?

Is it just a question of letting your body adapt and shed the bloat naturally?

Try to pinpoint the cause of this relatively new 'bloat' and adjust if needed.

More and more people I know are finding as I did that when I stopped eating gluten and dairy, their bloating went away. I also lost 8 kilos over around 6 months, even though I also increasd my intake of eggs, meat, and seafood.

After baby #2 I had a similar problem. The dr. told me to drink warm, citrus water or tea with citrus in it. Apparently the warm water will help relax your insides and let you expel the air and the citrus helps to get rid of the bubbles. It seemed to help with me, but I'm sure each person is different.

I bloat in my tummy when I eat too much fiber. My body seems to take the water I drink and suck it into every bit of fiber I've eaten, and then the next day, I wake up bloated. For me, drinking "more" water and eating "more" fiber is NOT the solution.

I have noticed the past couple of weeks I am bloated. I am wondering what are some tips that help eliminate that? I know salt is one of them which I am working on that but any other suggestions?
