Exercise is typically a fairly small component of your overall calorie burn.
Most people burn between 1300 and 1900 calories per day just keeping their natural body functions ticking over (aka metabolism), and then 20% in addition to this through normal daily non-exercise activities.
In coming up with an intake recommendation, Spark takes into account your Exercise Goals (averaged across the week). So long as your Exercise Goals reasonably reflect what you are burning through exercise in a typical week, then Spark will recommend an itnake range consistent with your needs and goals. If you are burning significantly more or less than this, you can update your Exercise Goals through the LH side of the Start page, and Spark will recalculate your recommended intake.
