Thank you all for responding. I just took a 2 1/2-hour nap after sleeping until 9:00 this morning. I feel lousy. I couldn't exercise if I tried. You are right, of course.

I support epilepsy awareness and research.

I would say your body is screaming that is needs a break. Let it heal, recover, and then gradually begin to get back into your routine again.

My vote would be to take a break as well.... I think your body is telling you it needs to rest and recover.

I agree 100% with DragonChilde, sometimes you just need to take a break.

Listen to your body. Those chills, aches, and pains are indicative of a serious infection. There's a time to exercise, and when you're feeling like that? That's not it.

Eat healthy, at the top of your range (or even at maintenance) and focus on getting better, not exercise.

It started last night with body aches, shaking chills and sore throat. I was shivering and had a terrible time getting warm. This morning the coughing has begun and I don't have much of a voice. Also, I have no energy.

I want to exercise but I just can't. Is there anything I can do that won't take too much exertion but will still be exercise, or am I better off just not trying anything today?

Thank you.
