Getting injured isn't something to play around with. Too often folks will try to "push through the pain", or are afraid to stop exercising long enough to heal.
This is a mistake! Continuing to exercise is a great way to exacerbate injuries. You need to see your doctor and get his/her clearance for exercise. It's impossible to isolate your body in that way; even if you stick to non-impact exercises, you still risk straining the injured foot.
Take care of your body... taking some time off won't derail your efforts. Remember that weight loss is about diet, anyway... not exercise!
Writer, mother, wife, and breadwinner. I love to run, but running doesn't love me, so I'm switching to my low-impact bike.
