I don't necessarily think that TMCLEOD4 was suggesting you are a beginner to exercise, but rather just stating a fact about the program. The more in shape you are, the better equipped you will be to do Insanity, but even for a very fit person, it is still going to be challenging.
For example, I am doing Chalene Johnson's Turbo Fire, and I've been working out steadily for a few years now, and it still is a big kick for me to do that program.
