I agree with the GLH1980 Lack of potassium can cause cramps and charlie horses.

It may be a potassium issue. Are you eating bananas? I would try to increase my potassium intake and see if that helps. Also, if you are over exercising this can cause leg cramps.

I get leg cramps sometimes when I am trying to sleep. I exercise and drink about 8 cups of water, but still get cramps. What else can I do to stop these?
