Here are a couple of tips that might help you progress.
1. Don't feel you have to do each step perfectly
2. Don't feel you have to do an entire routine each time
Feel free to modify a step and/or take a little breather (by just walking in place) if you need to. The important thing is that you are moving -- and hopefully, learning to enjoy the dancing. As you "practice and learn," you work muscles and burn calories -- even if you are not doing the routine perfectly. As you practice, you will get better at it as you get stronger and more fit.
I'm a terrible dancer ... but I have been happy with my Zumba DVD's. Good luck to you!
