Does it feel like a strength issue, or is it pain like there might be something wrong? The exercise shouldn't feel painful. Do you have this problem with specific movements or anything involving your shoulder?

You want to use weights that challenge you but are not going to break your arm. Start small and if it seems too easy work your way up. If its a video, I'd use 1-4 lbs because you can keep up with their reps. If you want a real challenge go with higher weight. Does this help? Good Luck!!

I have tried the 9 minute strength training video and had shoulder pain with a 2 lb weight. so I switched to following with no weights. I found this to feel challenging. HOw to decide whennd how much weight to add
